Sometimes, I am rather glad that unwell patriarchal culture does not want to value people like me.
It makes me sad to realize that if patriarchal culture wanted me to become a valued but selfish, unwell man, it would also want me to act like one of the patriarchal women who constantly give preference to selfish, unwell men and to act like they are the most valuable.
"Those the best kinds of women for me to be around," I would probably be thinking.
Eeeeeesh.
Why do they want to prolong the misery of ignorance?
I don't know why.
It doesn't seem like a good idea to me, but I guess it does to them.
I suppose in a way it is like their safe space, or something. They've been convinced to become comfortable with or accustomed to that way of living.
