Considering that all of the people really needed to get access to basic necessities (like food, for example, and water and shelter and healthcare) it really was mean and derogatory and inefficient when some people were trained by their Patriarchal Society to be so selfish and so much worse to certain kinds of people than they were to others.
The old way was to keep on acting like the most self-absorbed people who had the most access to materialistic goods and money were more important than other kinds of people.
It was considered by some to be the "normal way to get ahead in life," but there was no way that most people would be able to go on continuing in that selfish way forever.
That old way was too unsustainable and it was also very inefficient for most people because it was not the really the best way for them to live.
There had to be some much better ways...
