That one time when I found out that some people I knew who happened to be women...
Who happened to be women who were married to white men and changed their last names, as one does...
Who happen to be women who were married to white men who grew up in sexist households who also were taught that making excuses for lots of abusive behavior in order to fit in and benefit more financially was supposed to be what was considered "normal..."
