Well, since you were the first nice boy at a daycare who wanted to be friends with 6-year-old me, and since I felt like the babysitter wasn't so nice to you back then, I hope you're doing well. Are u still on the East Coast? I feel like telling you the tale of two siblings of our generation who got tested by the West Coast public school system for entry into the "gifted and talented" program. Coincidentally, the lighter one got in, and the browner one didn't. Decades later, the browner one was told that they had both scored high enough on the test to be allowed into that program! For years, he just thought he wasn't good enough to be accepted into it. But what actually happened was, the educators could only accept one. Perhaps there was an age factor, too. But still, why did they even bother testing both of them? Just feels not quite right to me, somehow. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING OR PERHAPS NOT THINKING ABOUT only the shadow knows...
