Certain sexist cultural standards are clearly just so much more tolerable amongst some kinds of people than they are for other kinds of people, which makes me feel quite ill sometimes.
Let's say, for some reason, certain words in the parlance of "rich white guy rape culture sexism" are still much more tolerable to our society when they are said by a rich white guy than a similar barrage of words would be if they were coming from the mouth of a middle class Mexican guy. (So much machismo! So gross!)
Does that mean those rich white guys should want the middle class Mexican guys to get to have all the same "rape culture sexism privileges" that they have at the moment, so they can all be at the same level of dudebro colonizers together? Like that'll really happen. I don't think so.

If I have a friend whose cousin comes here to help harvest a lot of fruit / vegetables for us, and he doesn't get to be respected by the larger culture in this country, and he never gets permanent citizenship, that's one issue.
If my friend also says that there's still a lot of problems in her family for women and children with regards to many grown men who feel the need to act patriarchal and controlling (machismo, such a sickness, you know) just to prove their status, or feel self-worth, that's another issue.
Are not both kinds of problems stemming from unhealthy, predatory, colonized / colonizer behavior patterns?
