Tonight, if only for a moment, it really seems like this: Just because YOU could get along with the patriarchal patterns in certain ways in this lifetime, that does NOT mean that it will be the same for others, including (if you have them) your descendants.
Why did I just think about that? Well, for one thing, I live with a nice man who expressed his horror at two stories about gynecologists doing horrible things. "I thought it was two stories about the same person but they're two different people!"

Did the songwriter actually ask his anima to get in touch with her feelings? Hmmm. Not too sure. There's another famous person with "He's likely to be less patriarchal in his next life" potential.
