It's not that I don't think a person without a crampy uterus has never done anything good in his life. Good stuff has clearly happened. But for some of us, there is still a level of narcissistic indulgence in this culture that just feels wrong to say 'yes' to, like maybe because it is something one would need to see a doctor for in other circumstances. In the current day and age, some need to communicate "I have to say 'no.' The vibe is too old-fashioned in a way that is really not the healthiest for me, and you know it."
