When I was in a highschool creative writing class, someone who wrote a Simpsons episode came to visit his teacher and brought the script. It seemed like it could have been on television; it was very funny.

That M*A*S*H episode was so startling, when I saw it with some others, back when I lived in the Midwest. And I wonder if we were watching it because my friend saw one of the actors who came to a reading conference with his wife when she was promoting her book.
