Jan. 2021 notes on risky behavior

If you want to do some risky grocery shopping because a store you like doesn't do pick-up, here's what might happen:

Parking lot has a decent amount of open spaces. Store should not be crowded. Line into the store moves quickly. Perhaps a little too quickly?

Once inside with a cart, you keep getting boxed in by moms with 2-year-olds! Yes there always seems to be exactly one 2-year-old in the cart, pushed by a smiling mom! Did a terrible twos support group decide to go all at the same time?

Anyways the moms and kids seem happy and oblivious to virus variants.

After sending them all patient vibes, the store seems to empty out more, and you feel safer. Then you overhear something kinda like this:

Patron: how is so and so.

Employee: oh he's fine he barely got it he was drunk the whole time.

Patron: well the vaccine should be available soon!

Employee: my coworkers are already getting it.

And you go home and shower for a second time that day because what are they getting? Virus variants or vaccines?
