People need to start getting more real.

Imagine having something bad and threatening happen to someone you value, and a whole bunch of uncaring male managers just don't care about it even though it's on tape, and they will not let you go elsewhere to work, like another department, even though they totally could have done that, and you have to just keep on dealing with being around a violent loser for the weekend, just because the people who are supposed to listen aren't, and the HR people have the weekend off, and you feel like you can't afford to leave the job or lose the health insurance.

Did some people who grow up in really bad sexist households decide to become uncaring bosses or  managers because they have unhealed control issues, or what is wrong with them?

Or do they have sisters who are like that co-worker I had who said she grew up with a bunch of brothers and she was going to become a police officer and she thought that girls who dressed a certain way were asking for it and, God she was going to become a police officer, oh my God, I really hope she stopped thinking like that, just because she grew up with a bunch of brothers who were clearly sexist losers, and she felt like she had to fit in with them, or something.

I really hope she changed her chauvinistic attitude before she became a full-time police officer.
