Your parents have spent a lifetime acting like abusive men are way more important than most other kinds of human beings on this planet. They chose that. They felt it was fun for them to choose that. They still choose that. They've been warped by a patriarchal society. They took the rewards that the patriarchy offered them for aligning themselves with those standards. They have very long-standing, entrenched habits of discriminating against and dehumanizing other people.
There are so many other people on this planet who are better to a lot of kinds of human beings than they are.
