Really, do you just need to keep repeating the same old patterns in order to stay afloat in a Very Temporary Narcissistic Bubble? Because that's very depressing to witness.
If that's what you chose as your version of "success" in this life, don't you have better ways of coping with reality? Can't you think of better ways to use your time?
Sometimes it really seems like someone like Trump has far more in common with Hollywood Narcissists than he does with any other type of people. Why is so much of Hollywood just the worst about dehumanizing people? And about finding ways of getting rewarded for doing that.
What if they changed the name and called it the Built By Incels Industry? Sick, sexist, and full of people who just lie, lie, lie to themselves and to others all the time, as a survival technique.
There are growing numbers of unhoused people in this country and around the world right now who find it easier to show more care and sensitivity and generosity to fellow human beings. I am not saying poor people are saints. But they don't have the same bubbles around them.
And let's not forget how great it is to encounter actual & genuine curiosity about how others are doing.
