It's like the brain went, "If some of us in 2021 waited for 75% of the world's dads of daughters to begin a conversation about this sort of thing, the world would just get increasingly rapey, so long as certain people had distractions such as work and sports and dinner and homeownership and income inequality tipped in their favor & a pipe to smoke (adds a homey touch.) And of course, tax deductible donations to a favorite charity would be a wonderfully easy way to avoid the dreadful topic as well.
