If you are a man and you can actually be a good friend to a woman then you should do that. If you can't, and the person seems worth being friends with (you know, even though she's a woman) why not figure out why so you can fix it and be better at it in the future. Women do not exist just to automatically prop up your ego, do whatever is on your agenda, etc. etc. (At least, this one doesn't think they should.)
