Femininity fails film treatments: Ganging up on the light skinned girl is so 4th grade and you would think some ppl had grown out of it by now but what happens when years of immature behavioral patterns go unchecked? What's the diff from 80s --- present day? 1990s High-school assembly for this type of discrimination but not other ones leads into girl goes clubbing and gets raped by guy who also happens to work at her highschool. Both ppl of color but not same ethnic background. He was not a famous sports star but still got away with it. She was still a minor and went elsewhere to another school we guess. It was like the moral of the story was, don't be the bad girl who goes to clubs. Do we think she's the one who was treated the worst?
