Some people have that extra talent

They remind you that needless cruelty is very inefficient.

They also remind you that it would be much wiser to get therapy and rehabilitation for a sad childhood instead of reenacting those terrible, controlling, abusive behavior patterns and mistreating other people.

By the way.

These people were all "concerned mothers."

There is no way that I believe in the inherent good intentions of an insecure woman who actually took extra time to come to a library to spy on me and other people just because one of her offspring through no fault of my own sat by me on a form of public transport.

Based on their choices and behavior patterns, I have no reason to believe certain people are actually concerned about children's well-being beyond their own narcissistic, self-promoting activities. Especially children who would have been very badly treated during their own racist, misogynist, apartheid upbringing.
