I feel like I have been in two environments. One was a more imbalanced, corrupt environment and the other was a more balanced one.
In the more balanced one, there was a difference because people were fair and they had a sense of ethics. Both men and women in this environment treated me really well.
The one that felt imbalanced was more like a boys club where some women might succeed...women who put the boys club culture first and don't want to critique it or rock the boat can do better there.
Why does an environment that is not so bad for them feel so awful to me?
