I am so grateful for many good people and encounters I have had this summer. I had some today. And then I had a traveling experience that was so rough on my body and psyche that I feel reborn, like I went through hell and came out the other side alive. It was my own, personal hell. I know trauma too intimately. My wonderful companion on that trip did not experience hell in his body, he fared better. Now he and a lovely cat are such a tranquil presence in the next room. I am grateful. I love, and I live.
