It's a lot. I hope the younger ones can break out of the damaging cycle.

I believe that the older ones who have been perpetuating the old unhealed patterns have been acting that way because they're feeling very, very, very trapped. 

Seeing their possibility to get better only to get disappointed by how easily they still get sucked back into the old ways that don't actually serve them...well, it has been like being in hell. Not even some very good people in my life have been able to get why this has been such a difficult and disturbing experience. 

At least, I think, there's no way I can ever go backwards. Sometimes, that is the only thing that helps me feel better.
