"We recently got another classic photo of gender inequality on the global stage. This time, it was from the COP 27 climate conference. Out of the 110 world leaders who attended the global conference, just seven were women. Despite evidence that girls and women bear a disproportionate burden from climate change, women made up less than 34% of country negotiating teams at the UN summit in Egypt. As they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
