I think there are aliens who actually do care about a healthy earth, but they can't interfere too much with our problems because we're supposed to do it ourselves.
Can't escape earth problems by going to another planet 'cause even if you die there, you're gonna come back.
I believe emotionally healthy people make a healthy earth a better place for all of us.
Future leaders / role models will be very different.
