Something really great happened to me tonight and it was just because I watched a National Geographic show ("Lost Cities") about the area surrounding Machu Picchu.
I started to have this wonderful intersection of my consciousness when I was a younger person and I was still full of curiosity and wonder and I lived in a much younger body when I actually visited that area in Peru, and also gratitude for being older now, and then mixed in with that, more awareness of nature right now, where I'm at.
I didn't always live near big mountains. It can get really easy to forget about the mountains, but now they just seem like this wonderful, almost spiritual presence.
That's what the mountains are like in Peru. They're like a spiritual presence.
Oooh, I'm getting chills.
