And women who say they are feminist but act like they don't care if violence happens to you and constantly make men who have been favored by the system more important to them because these guys are their boyfriends or their fathers or their contacts to help them go further in their professions or whatever are still battling with their own internalized misogyny and still following the patriarchal messages they receive at a very young age. I'm glad I'm not their parents. Truly the impulse to dehumanize others is so disappointing. It's violent and it's greedy and it's patriarchal and I know people deserve so much better than that.
