It is not my job in this life to deal with immature, materialistic parents who bully others just to validate their shallow life choices, or to prop up their patriarchal ways and habits that are so bad for so many other kinds of people
The violence on multiple levels -- physical, mental and emotional -- has told my body that I am not allowed to do so.
