Who cares if you got told you should treat property, homes and cars as if they are more valuable than human beings?

What values to emulate!

The real improvement would be to figure out how to heal and to admit that just because some outside forces instructed you to be very self-absorbed, you need not adhere to greedy, sexist, racist, coping mechanisms in order to have a "good life" according to patriarchal standards.

Perhaps you could still thank the people who are picking your food and paying into your social security. (I mean, people of a certain age are paying into social security too but the way things are going,  it's going to run out. But maybe nice things might happen in the future if better leadership happens?)

The guy in charge is now focused on deporting the immigrants on account of racism and scapegoating, but you don't have to be that way to survive a life on Earth, right?
