With all that's going on with human health / human rights situations, I can see why the universe was constantly encouraging me to look at the dynamics of the Ludovico/Beatrice non-lavender marriage, resplendent with art and excessive wealth and too much power, and then, a few centuries later, the folksier and more productive rapport of Emerson/Thoreau.
