When music of another era is back again...

I never paid too much attention to this song in the '90s (I was still in high school when it came out), and when I looked it up it the site said this was about the singer breaking up with a model, which made me wonder if the glycerine refers to glycerine tears, like maybe her tears would only seem like glycerine tears to him, which might just be getting off track, but it got stuck in my head recently for some reason, so perhaps I will ponder it further...
