I'll bet you anything some adjuncts who couldn't get tenure have joined ICE. I'll bet you anything. Maybe they can do the desk jobs?
But some of them might want to go out on the street. There's some very sadistic people in college environments.
Unfortunately, you've met people who would have joined the Nazis for the money and it's not very fun to know that.
Anyways, any of the tenured professors who felt like being particularly sadistic certainly role modeled survival strategies for their students who have decided to join ICE.
Maybe the next generation will have a more sophisticated and developed sense of ethics when it comes to how they treat their fellow human beings.
