This is a society that treats so many types of girls and women so very, very, very badly. It's disgusting to pretend that it's okay or good enough or acceptable for it to be that discriminatory. How is it possible that it is now more dangerous than ever before to live in a female body and have female medical issues, with all of our medical advancements? Just purely based on the sociology of people having so much patriarchal, misogynistic crap programmed into them from a young age.
People have been too programmed to accept patriarchal norms and patriarchal standards and even patriarchal violence. In exchange for what? A selfish society that discriminates, degrades, and maims and sometimes even kills people who deserve much better. If you want to be a positive person in the face of human rights being violated and severe discrimination, maybe a consider expanding your circle of positivity to include more kinds of people than it included in previous years.
