Some people can make spreadsheets of all the times they on purpose chose to be cold and uncaring to certain types of people, just so they could better fit in with others.
And then they can end the exercise by reminding themselves "But I'm still SO much better than that Awful, Prejudiced, Racist, Sexist Guy Who Hates Poor People, Who Got Elected by Some Other Unhappy Jerks, who in currently in the White House, right?"
