This book is so good; the author must have enjoyed being an astute and attentive observer of the human condition.
I just got to the end of chapter 31. Her "I hate God" phase of life. What a sense of humor!
Maybe, somewhere in the wide universe, the now deceased author is still smiling!

I think I'm tapped into whatever current he was tapped into when he wrote it.
You know how some people think that Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal" is a great film...I guess that's kind how reading this book makes me feel right now.

I feel I was fortunate to read the book about 35 years ago. And I am even more fortunate to be able to reread it now!
