In my opinion, being "Aw shucks" for real about silly behavior is probably much more enlightened and caring than being one who misuses certain gifts just to be so blatantly abusive & entitled & disrespectful towards certain portions of the population. Just because that's how the Patriarchy taught some people to deal with life doesn't mean it's fine for them to keep on controlling & manipulating situations all the time, pulling the punches just for the weird thrill of "being able to put down other people."
And it's boring. Killing the nice things just to stay in control is a symptom of the "addicted to being a cold-hearted colonizer" mindset.
