But if you constantly treat sexist white men better than everyone else just to advance your own career, and meanwhile ignore all the people who are doing a lot of invisible labor to make your life more comfortable, do you think that is sustainable? Because it's really apparent that if that guy you choose to make excuses for had been born in a different body, you wouldn't have treated him the same, or be making the same excuses for his behavior this time around. All the success and accolades starts to look...not too deep. Surface-level. Then the change seems less dynamic than it could have been. That is not the way it has to be.
