The Catholic Pope reminded me that the reason a lot of guys don't treat women better is because (a) patriarchal training they received at a very young age and, and (b) they choose to be around women who were similarly trained, groomed, and convinced to discount large swathes of the human race in exchange for some very temporary selfish superficial advantages. Why should that be deemed okay? It's not okay.
