He was a big guy from El Salvador who dated my roommate in college. He played this for us in his nice car.

After a while, she started dating a Mexican guy (who was not as big as he was) and he confronted her outside of our apartment. She used the intercom and begged me to let him come up and talk to me, as a way of getting away from him. 

He asked a lot of jealous questions about her dating that new guy. I tried to be very neutral. He was quite unhappy. He may have criticized her behavior. He asked me, "Do you trust me?"

I said, "I don't know."

"You're smart." He left the apartment.

That was very uncomfortable, but it certainly wasn't the worst thing that ever happened.
