Sometimes

people are so phenomenal...

If one phenomenal person values making money over helping people, he or she will not find it too hard to make excuses for a bully, especially one who helps him or her make money.

He or she will turn a blind eye because it is convenient and because there is a reward for doing so. 

And what about the bully? Is he 100 percent bad? Maybe not. He can be so helpful if things are going his way... Maybe he just has control issues and probably saw various forms of abuse or bullying as he was growing up. Then he resorts to acting out what he saw as a child. He also finds ways to make himself valuable so people make excuses for his bullying behavior.

Maybe it works. But it is not healthy.

Sadly, this is what ruins trust and what might have otherwise been a good experience.
