First, it is much too small tea kettle , but might be OK for someone wanting one or two cups of tea at a time. The handle gets too hot to hold, and the lever that opens the spout requires full pressure to keep it open. Not easy when everything is that hot. If more than half full, it won't whistle at all, and at its best can't be heard from another room.
