Sometimes there are mild disappointments in communication, like trying to figure out how to help a person with chronic pain, but they're not that curious about it. I get curious and want to know if it's the psoas muscle (asking about where it hurts and pointing to a page in an anatomy book) but the person suffering is willing to get into it just a little, but mostly is not interested and just thinks it's simpler to rest it more and not think about it too much. It's not like it's too hard to deal with, but mild disappointments can be kinda sad. It kinda reminds me of how some Grandpa's were raised to deal with their pain, though.
