This is difficult, on several levels.
People pressuring you to go along with them and accept their point of view instead of being curious and open enough to be able to listen to your point of view feels wrong and detrimental to health. It happened recently because I felt something was a little too wide but everybody else thought it was fine and did all the smiles and all the pressure. And now I'm up with sore gums. Still looking at it still thinking it's a tad too wide. And I put thousands of dollars. On the credit card. For the experience. I'm going to ask the universe and nature for more help with these kinds of things.
Let's enjoy good food while it lasts, right? But maybe the fertilizer situation will improve.
Today was the day of two Taco Tuesdays!
The first Taco Tuesday meal was served several hours ago and featured street tacos of the following varieties: el pastor, chicken, chorizo and potato. (And I also got some refried beans and cactus salad.)
After eight, there was a second, smaller taco Tuesday meal:
X: I brought home fish tacos!
Y: For yourself?
X: I bought them with my money, but I got two in case you wanted to eat some. But if you don't want to eat some, then I will eat them.
Y: I think you're a growing girl.
X: Then I think you should help me eat my fish tacos!
Lord, is it a sign?
My cat just sought after a spoonful of Fancy Feast so intensely that she completely turned the food dish upside down and mess got everywhere and then I turned it right side up and put the rest of the food in the bowl. I hope she also eats the part that spilled on the floor. Not because of any demeaning reason, but just practically speaking, it would be more helpful.
Update: She did! Thanks, Kitty! Now I only have to clean the floor a little bit.
This cat was very sought after! 😻

Feels kind of like I'm in a recovery mode of some sort right now, on multiple levels. I think I'm going to start looking more at all those different forms of love again. You know how there's eight different forms of love, according to the Greeks? Looking at the different forms of love is probably going to be more appealing to some people than listening to more lectures on sexism and racism and the evils of capitalism and people in detention facilities and children being treated badly and all that sort of thing. Maybe if some people just looked at the different forms of love more deeply, it would be more effective. I feel like I made big purchases today and it's not everyday you spend two grand because your insurance doesn't cover anything anymore. But this was kind of fun to look at, either again or for the first time. I didn't remember any of it but I thought I watched it during lockdown.

Kind of scary!
So, I just listened to the DJ who was introducing "Refugee" and he said it's about dealing with a bad whiner and he thinks the lyrics about being tied up and held for ransom are brilliant sarcasm and he also said you would wish that this kind of song would never be written about you. He also grovels a lot about the genius of Tom Petty.
Man, I just thought the song was a lot more nuanced than that.
Anyways his take reminded me of people who say that the patriarchy trains men to be misogynistic docile creatures who want to submit to other men and tear down women. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I actually think somebody who might have been sex trafficked or something might listen to the song and have a very different take on it. Oh well. Good luck dealing with 😍😍😍😍!

"A Beginner's Mind" - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Beginner%27s_Mind
I liked the "Lady Macbeth" song and I like the movie "The Last Wave."
It's incredibly interesting that the songs were based on the experiences of watching films.
People do have a lot of courage.
People do want to feel more love and they do want to experience love, but they also experience fear because sometimes their past traumatic experiences aren't resolved yet and it gets in the way of creating new things, but nevertheless...They believe they can get to the next level.
Things get so dense when you're on Earth sometimes.
I should ask the universe why, if I was supposed to learn more about femininity in this life, why I didn't get more feminine influences? Why did I have to struggle to recover and look for those? You can have knowledge and then forget it. It's like there's this constant process of amnesia happening. You're nervous system gets thrown off by a traumatic event and all of a sudden you're like an amnesiac and that wonderful knowledge you were so sure you had becomes something you have to try to remember. Grief and anger and rage and fear can push people into really strange corners sometimes. That's why it's good to seek out practices that can help with getting more balanced and centered. Then it's not so difficult to recover memories or a sense of balance.
I haven't really been a stretch out to the crowds kind of person.
Maybe I have guides who think what I'm doing is okay, even though it's kind of weird and solitary. I think that might be the case. Maybe this is just the way I am for a few decades and it'll change in the future. I don't know.
Sometimes it's a question of which current of energy is hitting you more strongly.
If you're being put in a certain current of energy by the universe, you're going to start thinking people who passed away are going to come back and talk to you in particular ways, and therefore it doesn't seem like they're really dead, it just seems like they're in a different space, and they can still get messages through to you. Sigh. But perhaps it's not appropriate for everyone to experience such things.
Especially the ones who attended weird churches that pumped strange values into their brains.

Everybody's in a growth process whether they want to be or not.
What a folly to act like you've done all the growing you've needed to do, eh?
That's exactly what the patriarchy tricks people into thinking they need to do.
It's just a matter of time before people figure out that it's been a charade.
And the descendants will see it. I mean they might actually be too busy with their own lives to think about you very much, but when they do think back...
Anyway, maybe there's no song that's the worst that's ever been written because they're all sort of here for a reason. They're doing some stuff.
Not just occupation-wise, but also in regards to my attitudes and behaviors and beliefs and such.
I kind of do wonder what I would have done in this life if I had been born a boy, sometimes.
If you're so uninterested in your own personal growth.
If you have children maybe you should at least figure out how they can have less weird attitudes towards girls and women than the ones that you've inherited.
Well, at least some of the "others" are still living in spite of the ignorant ones' best attempts to act like they don't matter.
Every time I have to pay a boatload of money just for the experience of living in this body, I'm just going to remember that lots of other people are also are having that experience too. Most of us are not going to be f****** princesses!!!!
I have no other explanation for people's choices sometimes.
You must think every girl is here to be turned into a princess. So, you either have to be the princess or the man. Wow! What a pair of limiting f****** choices that is. Well, whatever, maybe this will seem different later, but I think it's enough to acknowledge that a whole lot of people are still thinking and acting that way for now.
It also takes a lot of money, by the way.
Someone needs to feed the rich, and the poor, but I can't believe it's easier for you to turn yourself into a man than it is for you to care about women and girls. I have seen so little effort by patriarchal people to start caring about women and girls who are not rich and / or of the kinds of genetics that patriarchal supremacy prefers, basically, that I feel like I'm just stunned.
Really? Even the liberal people?
Because of what I feel about my own personal needs, I am definitely NEVER transitioning to male in this lifetime.
Because I also feel feel that accommodating a bunch of shallow, self-centered, chauvinistic people who probably do not give a s*** about the vast majority of young girls and women in this country, who are moreover supposedly benefiting from the poor treatment and exploitation of such human beings, yes, human beings who deserve A LOT BETTER is not what I'm here to put up with.
I am not going to do that just so the shallow people treat me better, so f*** that, f*** that, f*** that, f*** that, f*** that, f*** that, f*** that, f*** that.
F U C K. T H A T.
Absolutely not.
That is not my calling. That is not my journey.

🦋🧋🌻Between the busy insect pollinators and the people whose labors help us stave off starvation...👨🏽🍳🫖🍚
Sunday, March 29, 2026
Slept and then woke up because of a message inside that I'm trying to get out in the world.
We have to remember we can do good things because there are people who are here to do really important work together, and I don't know why sometimes they choose difficult situations and maybe it's because from the universe's perspective, one life is it's just one of many, and the universe thinks you get multiple chances, but still, while you're here in one particular life it feels so important, and I kind of remembered nother dream where it was as if I went somewhere and I saw somebody and I was on the verge of getting to know them and then he made a decision and he knew he was going to feel it for all the rest of his life, but he made a decision to leave and and it affected the whole rest of their lives, and that really happens. And when that happens, they probably will see each other again in a different life. But why can't we just do well for each other this time? It would be just a great and wonderful thing. It would be truly an honor to be able to choose what love and we will help ourselves, and it will be good for others, too.
People need to figure out how to get more joy out of being helpful.
Patriarchal society makes some sensitive people have to say no so much, that it's hard to say yes when you have so much obligation put on you to say no. And then you wonder why some people aren't as successful. Well, they're dealing with adverse circumstances, and they're so busy trying establish boundaries and zones of respectfulness that other people don't apparently have enough sensitivity to perceive are needed.
Think of pollinators in nature and how sensitive they are.
This culture is too hard on sensitive beings.
This was a pretty view.
And it was very unplanned because somehow getting food and going to the park, which happened to be next to a cute little school, seemed like a good idea. A small band showed up and played exactly one song as far as I could hear: "I'm Not The Only One." I think it was all boys playing. It certainly wasn't an L7 type of band.
But there was also a party going on (maybe at a nearby venue) and there was lots of other songs happening there! "Ain't no mountain high enough..." "What a wonderful world..." "This must be the place" said the Shazam (Talking Heads) "Rock the night away...'
Y: You know this this is a cool park cause it's really chill. There's not kids screaming all over even though it's next to a school."
Can't disagree with that!
"Finesse" said the Shazam (Bruno Mars), "YMCA," (a nice reminder that exercise is good for your emotional well-being!)
Well, I guess if you write, sometimes your life can become more like an art film. (Maybe it's that way with other art forms, too?)
Speaking of writing, and schools, I may have gone to some bad ones, but I will say, in all my childhood recollection, never have I ever tried to kiss somebody in a closet and made them pee on themselves and then got my sisters to make excuses for it. Because my life did not happen to arrange itself in that way...
Some of them could pay more attention.
Because if they get hit by a truck tomorrow, they could wake up in less than a year and have a totally different body! Just being helpful. And sisterly.
It's already like summer weather has arrived in this part of the world.
Someday I think I should go back to a place I like to sleep in, and read lots of books in, called the rainbow room, because of how it was decorated, in a house I used to visit every summer, but I haven't been there in a while, not for many years.
Followed creative inclination. 🎶
I found some very small zines and a sticker I could purchase. And it felt like the universe got mischievous on the way back, because a gang of young teenage boys on bikes were in the street in front of the car that was in front of me and they took up space and got in the wrong lanes and everything.
One was especially acrobatic on the bike and made me think music video directors would be looking for him. He was black and got in front of the car in front of me as if he had no fear of death. But I also think maybe there was another person who cut in front of the car before he did his acrobatic stuff and this person seemed like a young Latino guy, who drove very close to my car and wasn't as acrobatic, but he had a really smug smile on his face.
(And then the radio brought back memories of my mom's ex-boyfriend talking to me about how he liked this new song called "Black Velvet" and he was asking, "Do you think your mom likes this song?" before they played "Run Around" by Blues Traveler. I sort of think they separated because he wasn't really loving living with kids; he was younger than her.)
I would have liked to take a picture of the acrobatic biker, but I was driving.
One of the tiny zines I have now (actually I might have met this writer before: www.fiberverse.com/) references three songs that I don't think I've ever heard before, so I'm going to look them up:

I will think about zines now, and hip exercises.

What's going on...🎼
I feel like, this is hard, but I think my circumstances seem to be communicating to me that some people are getting challenged to get better at caring about a bigger picture and a wider range of people. Which doesn't mean being right all the time. But it does mean being more interested in what's really going on with a wider variety of people.
I suppose he was kind of like a troubadour.
Still on a personal healing journey, like a lot of people are.
There's been too much sweeping under the rug when it comes to many forms of suppression and violence. It will no longer be considered acceptable. Even though it's the past now, I still remember when I had to be the one to say "Enough" to the older people. Both as a child, and in recent years.
"After Amber Czech, a woman welder, is killed, tradeswomen demand action"
https://19thnews.org/2025/11/amber-czech-welder-murder-tradeswomen-demand-action/
This story reminds me of meat department in a grocery store drama.
When a man made threats towards his coworker (a family member of mine) and it was captured on security camera and HR got involved but the company still didn't care and the male managers made excuses and even people in the family could not seem to step it up, that that was brutal. I wonder if this is because these people were hit by their parents when they were children and there's some part of them that just doesn't know how to stand up to violence. And it is hard. It's not easy. It's not easy to do it perfectly, either.
I just couldn't believe these people were trying to convince somebody who had been threatened and who wanted to die because of how disrespectful and disgusting the work environment became, partly because all of the male managers acted like it was no big deal that this violent threat had happened, that she needed to stay, and her life was now in danger from her own psychological state.
These are also the same people who couldn't talk about abuse in the family. So of course when it happened in a workplace situation, they weren't so on top of it either.
Patriarchal culture wants you to make excuses for violent men or act like the violence is not happening, and so many still seem have it driven into their consciousnesses that if you have to have a job that gives you health insurance, you have to put up with violence to have that. Well guess what? Sometimes even the job with health insurance doesn't give you the health care you need.
So sometimes you need to not believe what these Patriarchal people tell you, and you need to believe yourself. And ask the universe and God for help that the people do not seem to know how to give. And if you need to leave an environment and get away from violent people, that's what you need to do. I am never going to be able to feel like acting like money in a bank account and property ownership are more important than safety and honesty.
Moreover, when people are still not mature enough to have honest discussions about abuses that happened, whether it's in society or in the family, that's a real disappointment. That shows a lack of concern for safety and honesty And it's a false sense of control that if you don't talk about it, it won't be a problem.
That's why I'm glad more women are speaking up now. Sometimes they're strangers on social media, but it's more and more and more and better and better and better.

Keeping in mind that the future should be better...
It's important to know how articulate people can be about certain sensitive topics, too. Much of the population needs healing, not ignoring.
Make lists!
So what are the things you like about a white guy with more money? And what are the things you like about a brown woman who picks your food in the field and doesn't have as much money?
You can cook, and other people can cook.
You can grow in the church of knowledge. You can get to know someone better, and more intimately. You can stop expecting one brother to be lower than the other brother on account of the way the system's designed.
Camping without a single worry about a heating pad for cramps.
Another positive thing about the imagined masculine side: this side supports self-improvement and it's like: just do this and get this done. Oh good you, got it done. Well, of course you did. What are you going to do next? On to the next thing. And then if this side hangs outwith me if I'm around a guy who's expecting me to be super feminine in a way that I don't find very enjoyable, this side says okay. Time to leave. No need to try to convince this person otherwise. Just let them live their life, and you can just go. Time to situate yourself elsewhere. Don't try to convince him of things. Don't do arguments. Don't do feminism. Just move on to the next thing. Don't waste your time arguing about stuff with this person. Your time will be better spent elsewhere.
I don't want to give in to the Patriarchal society by changing too much.
I don't think being a girl is inherently oppressive. I think Patriarchal society is oppressive to girls. But that's how it is for me. I also have a bunch of impressions running through my mind like I've already spent plenty of time in more masculine bodies in other lives and I don't need to do anything to make that happen in this life and I don't want it to happen (for me), so that's me in this life.
Another bit of self-knowledge I have.
I think I will be a girl / woman forever in this life. When I found out that maybe if I'd been a boy, I might have been named."Jonathan," I was like, well. I'm really glad that that didn't happen. And I could really feel an impression of what Jonathan would be like and I felt like this: I don't want to be Jonathan. No, I'm not Jonathan. Jonathan is not me. Jonathan was in a heavier mood as a boy, kind of sulky and smart and intense, with dark hair, and I didn't want to be that person in this life. But I don't know. Maybe Jonathan had some good qualities. Sometimes I see pictures and I'm like, huh. That kind of looks like Jonathan doesn't it? Yeah, the moody, intense writer kinds of pictures...Oh well. What can we do but wish Jonathan well. I don't know why they would have chosen that name, but I do also a little bit think of Jonathan Swift and Jonathan Livingston Seagull. If Jonathan can pull himself together and be nice to cats, then maybe Jonathan is okay. Jonathan is also not very old. He's probably an adolescent. Maybe a very young man.
I feel like levity should be balanced with grounding influences.

Just because watching a film (or the trailer) builds your courage a little doesn't mean you're also going to dramatically walk into a book shop and fling a book at the proprietor's head.
Maybe this is funny?
"For most of the past century, your odds of being killed by a cougar were about the same as your odds of being killed by a filing cabinet."

Yes I have, but not from them.
