I kinda want to read that migratory account "West from Home" again.

"West from Home: Letters of Laura Ingalls Wilder, San Francisco, 1915"

I remember reading all sorts of books when I was living in the house that had been occupied by an older woman who was a shut-in. The woman's old, rather fascinating junk was in the garage for a long while until somebody came and took that stuff away. Strange pictures from the WWI era were in there. The best thing was a brown hard book from the teens or 1920s about teaching female children skills like sewing and drawing and how to give a party. I particularly wish I could remember the name of that book. Once in a while, I really do wonder what life was like for her.
