"I am better than others because I am a biological mother or father" is a very unwell, discriminatory attitude. It underlines why some feel more justified in showing their meanness towards other human beings: Patriarchal Culture trained them feel they could rationalize repeating prejudiced, controlling behaviors with a very selfish, warped outlook that dehumanizes and discriminates against others. It's sad to know they feel they still need to repeat that old meanness just because they saw others doing it. "I am better than others because I have more money, or a house, or a certain skin tone, or a certain kind of body" is not much better. People got torn down by cruelty, and then they cling to some very strange old belief patterns just to make themselves feel a little better.
