Shouldn't a healthy society be one in which people are encouraged to help each other?

Sometimes women with their own unresolved traumas around violence can be the worst when it comes to supporting other women. Because they weren't themselves given very many tools or resources, and they weren't ever given a lot of rewards for supporting or helping "certain kinds of people."

They're more often rewarded for going along with a fairytale version that will make patriarchal society and people who don't want to see what's happening feel better in a very small and very temporary way, but that will absolutely lead to more people being exposed to dangers. And once they, sadly, experience the violence, the old cycle repeats and continues. Who wants to be complacent about that old cycle of violence continuing? I don't want it to keep continuing.
