Paychecky really wounds people.

For example, I was thinking of the suffering of a trifecta of "me-too'd" writers: Junot Diaz, Neil Gaiman and Sherman Alexie. Three very different voices, all wounded by an Unwell Patriarchal Society in their own unique ways.

Out of these three, I think Alexie seems like he could write the most interesting stuff about the b******* that's going on right now. So, a part of me was like, oh too bad he sexually harassed some women in the past, because maybe he'd be sharing some interesting thoughts? Well, apparently he just wrote something and shared it online a week ago. Never mind. He's a man of the baby boomer generation; he's fine. (Or perhaps not really?)

I skimmed this, and my top takeaway is, it sounds like he had many lonely moments on his book tours. I suppose that might have something to do with some of the immature behaviors that some people were not too happy with him about.

"A Letter To The Ambitious"

Sherman Alexie

Not really feeling ambitious. Just feeling like my brain was offering me a distraction from the worse horror show that's been happening.
