Oh there's still some tents behind them. Margot and Anne had to stay in the tents in the freezing cold weather and rain because there wasn't enough room in the barracks.
And now, who can believe anyone would be this cruel to other human beings again, just because they're being rewarded whenever they act self-absorbed while living under an authoritarian regime, until it gets to the point where the only way to go on living is to be stuck in the numbness of survival mode?
And this was eighty years ago. I guess eighty years wasn't even that long ago?
