Story time.

I went to a library in another area today (it's on the way out to Twentynine Palms, which is where a bunch of Marines were recently deployed from because of the current regime's response to the LA protests) and there was a story time happening at the library, and I was thinking about how there are children who might not be coming to story time for various reasons right now.

Really! That's what it felt like. Because of their background and because of people being prejudiced, some children don't have access to story time right now.

There were displays of Spanish language children's books and Pride Month books. And it was kind of nice to see that in this little conservative area.

I got this book:

"Ruth Franklin Examines Anne Frank's Legacy in Experimental Biography"

I've just been reading about how the classroom sizes slowly dwindled down as more and more people were taken away.
