It's scary, but it is true that when people make excuses for demeaning behaviors just to fit in with others, and are smaller then they needed to be, or less honest than they could be, and they seem to think they have to act that way in order to supposedly have a good life, it feels quite wrong; it feels like it's not the path that I should be choosing to follow in this lifetime.
