Houses can be good and beautiful places.

Acting like materialistic things are more important than human beings seems really patriarchal and discriminatory and anti-feminist and hurtful to me. I do not understand why this is the path that some people choose to take, and I'm not even tempted to take it. It's not that I don't appreciate food and shelter and clothing, because I most certainly do. Values are important, and acknowledging the dignity and humanity of people from a lot of different kinds of backgrounds is really important, in my opinion. When people do not acknowledge the humanity of people from lots of different backgrounds, than terrible atrocities can happen and that is not good for anybody. Anyways, it's an interesting time to be here.
