I bet if they didn't live in a patriarchal pay check archy, more people who got abused by the system would have developed more compassion and empathy for others.
Instead of shutting out others, (like the girls who also got abused by men) in order to align themselves with the patriarchal people who want to be praised and pampered and waited upon and treated with great preference, maybe some people would have become more committed to equality and being good to people.
I bet if some people weren't raised in that kind of a system maybe they would have been encouraged to actually help out girls who had gotten abused by unwell patriarchs.
