Maybe we'll get a better president next time because people will really change on a much deeper level.

 If you've put a lot of energy into propping up violent men just like the patriarchy wanted you to do throughout your life (and they actually paid you to do it also) then maybe the president that's in charge now is the president that actually matches the energy you've been putting out into the universe in spite of who you might have checked off on the ballot in the 2024 election. But maybe there will be a lot of changes happening, and the changes will eventually help the population to produce a better result next time.
