Is it like you're cheating on The Patriarchy now?

Is having more empathy and feelings and thinking of others just not what the paychecky wants, and the patriarchy gets jealous if you start thinking about other people, and then it accuses you of cheating, of cheating on The Patriarchy? Is that what the problem is.
